3d Printed Terracotta

UTS MASTERS DESIGN 2018

Miluni – Installation for Masters Studio SUBJUNCTIVE SPACE

How can architecture reposition itself to work alongside indigenous comprehensions of place?

In this studio led by Joanne Kinniburgh, Daniel Beasly, Shannon Foster and Tran Dang, students challenged architectural imposition and produce work that acts as a communicator of culture, revealing Sydney’s hidden indigenous histories.

The results were terracotta 3D printed objects installed into the landscape at Sydney Olympic Park to facilitate the sharing of indigenous narratives to school groups along a contemporary song line.
